Has anyone eaten at Ruby's BBQ on 29th? No, not Rudy's. Ruby's, with a "b." I need to know if it's decent.
In case I was getting at all worried about my slow approach to 30 (which I actually wasn't), the huge, throbbing zit on my face makes me feel like a kid again. I just need some awesome braces and a perm and it'll be like the good old days.

I ate there once during my 1L year. Not bad, as I recall. I've certainly had worse! The person I went with highly recommended ordering the "fatty brisket."
Ruby's on 29th is the bomb. Some of the best BBQ in Austin and easily the best side dishes (if you like mac and cheese, you must try theirs). They also have excellent cajun food certain days of the week.
I like Ruby's and ate there a few times. It was close to my apartment. Good brisket and sausage.

We've eaten there a bunch of times and picked it up for big groups once or twice. It's very tasty and better than ruDy's, I think. But I like Rudy's sauce better.
It's very good. In fact, whenever I was put in charge of lunch for a BBCC, it was what I'd choose. So, you've probably had it before in the TLR office.
Rudy's is still my favorite though.
